Open Limbas

Open Limbas is a database management system in order to quickly create web-based applications.

Limbas is based on PHP and includes the GPL2 license. Like Access, from basic features such as table management, form and report generator as well as charting and workflow features it can be dynamically modeled with one another to any product solution. The independant database-system includes a pre-integrated User-/Groupmanagement, a document management and various groupware functionalities. Because of the modular system nearly all of the business processes can be modeled and mapped in a very short time. The version in the browser allows flexible handling. Despite the absence of plugins or Java one can quickly and easily create the various components per drag and drop or AJAX functionalities.
